Quadrant Risk Management (International) today announced a new, innovative approach for Financial Service Providers requiring a low risk, rapid implementation for Basel II. “Basel II – Try it, Prove it, Install it” uses Quadrant’s B² or SAB² risk calculation and Basel II reporting engines for achieving Basel II compliance. The new service is available on the HP Integrity NonStop server.

London, UK, 14th May 2007, Quadrant has today announced an innovative initiative to enable Financial Service Providers to achieve Basel II compliancy using either the Standardised Approach or Advanced Approaches. “Basel II – Try it, Prove it, Install it” is a unique facility where Financial Service Providers can load their credit, market and operational risk data into Quadrant’s risk data warehouse, produce the Basel II compliance reports and check the results. They can then proceed quickly to a full implementation using either the Basel II Standardised Approach or Advanced Approaches for a Line of Business or across the enterprise.

“Basel II – Try it, Prove it, Install it” uses Quadrant’s B², Basel II Advanced Approach, and SAB², Basel II Standardised Approach, solutions. It is available for trialling on an HP Integrity NonStop NS1000 server at HP’s Wood Street Office, in the City of London. It includes all the data loading utilities, data models, capital calculators and reporting to perform Basel II reporting for a limited number of asset classes of your choice. The overall package comes ready installed on the HP Integrity NonStop platform and provides for a fast deployment of a fully compliant Basel II reporting solution.
